It encodes WIFI:T:WPA;S:SSID;P:password;H:false;; format. Phone cameras recognize it and show a Join Network prompt.

Is it safe to share WiFi via QR?

Yes. The QR only contains the same credentials you'd share verbally. You can place it behind reception or rotate password periodically.

Does it work with hidden networks?

Yes, enable Hidden Network checkbox to add H:true. Phone will then connect to hidden SSID.

What if my network has no password?

Select No Password encryption. QR will be generated with T:nopass and no P field.

Can iPhone and Android scan it?

Yes. iOS 11+ and Android 10+ camera apps natively support WiFi QR auto-join.
