Discount amount = Original price × (Discount % ÷ 100)
Sale price = Original price − Discount amount
Or in one step: Sale price = Original × (1 − Discount % ÷ 100)
Multiple discounts
Two discounts in a row are not simply added. Example: 20% then 10% off is not 30% off. Apply the first, then the second on the new price.
